David Cowhig established Biz-Mate in 2006. He saw the need something different. David was educated at St Francis College Rochestown and Cork Institute of Technology, with business qualifications before, much more recently, continuing study to upgrade his skills in new technologies, especially web design.
Between and during different periods of study, he gained vast experience in various positions (principally in the areas of Bookkeeping and Payroll) in and around Cork City.
Outside of work, David’s primary interest is Public Speaking. A member of the local Toastmasters Club, he has the unique distinction of serving three separate terms as president, over its 25 year history.
David is also a fan of many forms of live music. He is a member of “Cuman Na Dataid” (The Forty Club), a Cork based private club. David has also had the honour of serving a term as its President.
David can usually meet you in your place of business, your home or anywhere that suits you best, rather than expecting you to call to his office. If you must come to him, then parking is much easier than it would be in the city centre, another plus when you’re busy. This is what makes Biz-Mate different.
