During my 9 years as the Club Professional at Doonbeg Golf Club, I worked at just about every golfing service aspect you can think of and I am still pretty good at it! A portion of my working time was spent working with various members organizing different fun things to do around their golf tours to unique destinations around the world.
Those experiences at Doonbeg Golf Club inspired me to found Concierge Golf… some of my members would comment “JD nice job, buddy!” as I worked at creating better Irish Golf Tours for all who requested … light bulb moment! I knew about all the courses, when and where to play… I knew all the PGA Pros/Club secretaries at all the courses and I was able to get the best deals… and I was organized with a proven Irish Golf Tour guide! Awesome! Let’s go playing golf in Ireland, Scotland, Portugal, Spain and The USA!

- Class PGA AAT Golf Professional (2007 – 2012)
- Managed Doonbeg Golf Club’s golf operation whilst achieving IAGTO European Golf Resort of the year (2010)
- Successfully trained Doonbeg Golf Assistant Professional to 1st Place Irish Region PGA Trainee of the Year 3, (2009)
- All-Ireland silver medal, Irish Club Youth’s Finals
- Irish Junior Cup Silver Medal
- Successfully trained Doonbeg Golf Assistant Professional to Runner PGA Trainee of the Year (2008)
- Co Managed Doonbeg Golf Club’s Lodge grand opening carnival (2006)
- Kerry Boys Champion (1996) Ballybunion Golf Club
- Coached Padraig Dooley whilst on Sunshine Tour (2005 – 2008)
